Governance
The activities of the CES-NL are led by a chapter Executive, which has 13 members:
- President
- Immediate Past-President
- Vice-President (and Professional Development Chair)
- Secretary (and Membership Chair)
- Treasurer
- Three Regional Directors (Labrador, Western, Central)
- One Director for the volunteer sector
- Two Directors-at-large
- Two Student Directors (ex-officio)
There are also three standing committees, with Chairs appointed by the Executive:
- Professional Development Committee
- Communications Committee
- National Advocacy Committee Representative
All positions are for a two-year term and executive members are elected at the annual general meeting, which is usually held in June each year. A call for nominations is sent out to members 30 days in advance of the annual general meeting. The Executive meets every second month.
